Instead, they all seem stuck on the same basic harmonies and rhythms. I have come to wonder that if they learned more about the syntax of music, they might have discovered new pathways. So, why did someone of that talent wither away? Shouldn't he have grown and done increasingly profound things? I ask that of many others of his generation.

Sunshine Superman, Mellow Yellow, Catch the Wind, Hurdy Gurdy Man, and Season of the Witch. I remember how great some of Donovan's songs were.
